My yoga path began in 2012 with Ashtanga Yoga – and with it also began a new path to myself. At that time, yoga helped me during a difficult time to reconnect with my body and develop a more loving relation with myself in total. Since then, yoga has accompanied me in my life and is still the foundation for my lightful energy and for me to thrive. And I still have a dedicated daily yoga practice myself.
At the beginning of 2019, I completed my first teacher training: a multi-style 200-hour yoga teacher training course for Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga in India. Following this I dived into a signature style class called “Bhakti Vinyasa Flow”, followed by two other profound teacher trainings in Kundalini Yoga and Tantra yoga, the latter also completed in India.
Yoga is for me not only what happens on the mat but a complete lifestyle that is woven into my whole life. It lets us feel our body, calm our mind, and remember our soul. It leads us to the consciousness of oneness, freedom, and bliss.
In my yoga classes I combine different yoga styles, sometimes with embodiment practices, and sometimes also with dance elements. Depending on the predominant style and my intention, I also include pranayama, mantras, mudras, and longer meditations. Moreover, there is no class without a deeper spiritual or philosophical teaching. I love integrating my wisdom in the class so that not only the body is activated, but also mind, heart, and soul. I can adapt classes according to the needs and goals of the practitioner: from flexibility to strength, from classical to funky, from practical to philosophical.
